Bournemouths' Top young surfer wins national comp in awesome style.
Miles Lee Hargreaves took another step towards the top of the UK competition scene this weekend with an amazing win at Fistral Beach, Newquay in the Quiksilver King of the Groms contest, seen as the worlds ultimate showcase of young surfing talent.
Battling it out in huge storm surf, Miles strength and ability shone through, beating 3 Cornish Surfers in the final.
He now goes on to compete in the european finals in august at Capbreton, France.
Well done Miles, and good luck.

Bournemouth Surf School arranges and develops competitive surfing on the South Coast from grass roots grommets training all the way to the English Surfing team for the European and World Games. Our instruction is second to none on the South Coast. We are also proud to be part of Surf Relief UK, encouraging participation in surfing within the disabled community.
