Coastal Activity Park (CAP) Launch w/e: 11, 12, 13 April '14

To celebrate the launch of the Coastal Activity Park (CAP) this weekend we will be offering Free 1/2hr Surf / Sup Hire Taster sessions every day of the launch :)

In addition the guys from Front Bike Hire will be setting up camp with us and offering Free 1/2hr bike taster sessions!

As well as these awesome activities the launch will include:

Friday 11th April - Media Day, Surf / Sup taster sessions.

Saturday 12th April - Surf / Sup taster sessions throughout the day with the official event Launches at 5pm with jugglers, circus performers, live music, family entertainment all culminating in a Dazzling Firework Display from 8:30pm.

Sunday 13th April - The party atmosphere continues from 11am when there’ll be non-stop entertainment with Surf / Sup taster sessions, sports demonstrations, dance performances, circus acts, professional life-guarding and rescue stunts.

There will even be a chance to win a ride on an exhilarating Aquatic Jet Pack!

For those who’d rather spectate, there’ll be sports demonstrations galore, with volleyball, touch rugby, beach tennis, football and yoga on display.
Water sports aficionados and complete beginners will be offered the chance to try out a new sport, experts will be on hand to help master the techniques.

The new Park will also offer plenty of dance classes at Murrelles Dance Studio, situated above the Neptune Harvester beside Boscombe Pier, styles include ballroom, Latin, smooth jive and plenty more.

A new Marine Ecology Information Centre, will be open for booking courts and equipment, the Centre is the information point for all the Park’s events and activities.
In addition to being a recreational venue, the Park will also host schools and college students and features a classroom for talks and lectures on marine ecology and coastal field trips.
